"I started working with yarn when I was at the Fine Arts School. At the beginning, it was a cotton thread, I used it to knit with needles or crochet. I realised that from a spool, you could make a weft and work in volume. I said to myself that this thread could be extended. That's when the pieces started to be installed first on the wall and then completely in the space. It turns out that I hardly ever use cotton wire anymore. I use metal wire much more because it allows me to work with volume and gives me great freedom. I play with the density of the weft, which is sometimes very pure to the point of becoming just a thread, and with the way the pieces are installed in the space. It's true that it all revolves around the drawing. The pieces are often installed in very neutral spaces, so all the white has an importance."
