Launched in 2017 to mark the 500th anniversary of the city's founding by François I, Un été au Havre has succeeded in making the city, rebuilt by Perret after the war, a world heritage site that has been reconciled with its history. Following on from Jean Blaise's artistic direction and the construction of some fifteen totemic works of art from the beach to the docks, Gaël Charbau promises to thrill the city with a new season that is more horizontal than vertical, looking to the future and new artistic practices.
