The exhibition

From sculpture to painting, drawing to engraving, the exhibition seeks to highlight the common ground between the two artists in terms of their Catalan identity, femininity, portraiture and the landscapes of Roussillon. Selected by the three curators, the works are of exceptional quality, and it is a great pleasure to appreciate Maillol's powerful and unexpected paintings and Picasso's dense sculptures. It quickly becomes clear that the choices were based on the creative diversity of the artists, especially in the case of Picasso, where each piece is almost a discovery.
