Throughout the retrospective of Katia Bourdarel's work (born in 1970) at the Regards de Provence museum (Marseille), we follow a female figure, both familiar and unfamiliar, perhaps a double of the artist, through her metamorphoses and initiations. Twenty years of creations are brought together, primarily paintings, which, in a journey that is both chronological and symbolic, take us from childhood to adulthood.
