Emmanuel Saulnier never stops thinking and revisiting two notions that are essential to his work: the presence of the object and displacement. He frees himself and his work from the usual structures of artistic creation. In the paradox of the materials used, fragile (glass) or solid (stone), his sculptures deploy another relationship to the base, to the ground, to the earth, in echo to Brancusi.
