Agnès Thurnauer - Rrose c’est la life
The exhibition
Here round and fresh, there piercing and sustained, the colour pink, delicate as well as sharp, like the flower that shares its name, continually surveys the paintings of history. It is this unassuming existence that animates Agnès Thurnauer's exhibition Rrose c'est la vie, installed this summer at the Centre d'art contemporain Bouvet-Ladubay.
In the heart of the Val-de-Loire, paintings and sculptures that do not focus so much on forms as on their exchanges invite the spectators to a resounding wander. Imbued from an early age with the semaphore choreography at work in Trisha Brown's Roof Piece, it is the dynamics of language that guide Agnès Thurnauer's work.
