The exhibition

Everything is there. The colorful animals and the affective cosmogonies, the works that we no longer need to introduce - including the feminist banners that are the Nanas - and the less considered aspects of his production - such as the sculpted series of Skinnies begun in 1979, transfiguring his struggle with lung problems. Articulated in eight sections, the tour includes sculptures but also models, books, silk-screen prints or pieces of his furniture is educational while inviting to a free wander. Like a disco ball, it mimics the festive, plural and fragmented spirit that characterizes the woman and her work. Starting with the spectacular presentation orchestrated in the museum's nave, with its monumental works and curtain of inflatable Nanas. Saint Phalle is shown in the multiple aspects of her artistic personality, from architect to marketeer to sculptor to draughtswoman, with her unmistakable handwriting, rounded forms and calligraphy.
