With Samuel Monier at the helm, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dole, founded in 1821, is in excellent hands. This large ‘small’ provincial museum is one of the most active in France. In Dole, beautiful exhibitions follow one another. We have seen retrospectives dedicated to Henri Cueco, Yan Pei-Ming, Dominique d'Acher and Jean Messagier. Today, Narrative Figuration is in the spotlight.
