The exhibition

Coming from the great Germanic forest, Georg Baselitz as well as Axel Cassel have turned contemporary sculpture upside down by reviving the direct carving of wood from African and Oceanic cultures. A retrospective of two German giants, poets who raise their hands to the brutal earth.

Extract from the article by Emmanuel Daydé, published in the nº99 of the magazine Art Absolument.
